The Secret Jungle

A second, stunning book in this clever series.

Take a close look at jungles across the Earth, looking for sleeping capybaras and bright kingfishers, counting blue-footed booby eggs and searching for predators eying their prey. In the pages of this book, readers can travel from Borneo to Sri Lanka, encountering different jungles and their fascinating, unique wildlife.

Like The Secret Forest, this book will captivate young readers from beginning to end. I think there's even more to find in this book than the first and many of the animals are very well hidden on the busy pages!

It's an activity book, a source of fascinating facts, and an entertaining story all at once. Pages at the end give lots more details of the animals encountered inside and there's space to record the things you spotted too. It really is a perfect treat for little wildlife-fans.

From beginning to end, The Secret Jungle is filled with beautiful illustrations with so much detail. Even without the hints and questions, you'd want to take your time pouring over every page.

Thank you so much to Scholastic for sending me a copy to review

The Secret Jungle is written and illustrated by Jessica Courtney-Tickle
