That's My Flower

This lovely picture book celebrates Spring, nature and sharing our environment.

Squirrel isn't sure what to think when Spring arrives, but he is very happy that a beautiful yellow flower has bloomed near his house, and he's decided that it's HIS. No rain showers or buzzing bees are going to take it from him, until his best friend Bird helps him to understand that wildflowers are there for everyone to enjoy.

This picture book has been a huge hit with my toddler, who loves pointing out and naming the different animals on the page. Slater's illustrations are bright and engaging, adding extra comedy to this funny story.

That's My Flower is a fun way to introduce young children to the signs of Spring and the importance of looking after and sharing the natural world.

Thank you Scholastic for sending us a copy to review.
