We're big fans of the Busy... push, pull and slide books from Campbell and Busy Party is no exception.
I always find these board books a bit more robust than traditional 'lift the flap' stories, so they can handle toddler wear and tear for longer (in fact, all the Busy... books I had for my son are still completely intact!)
Busy party would make a wonderful birthday present, or be a great stories to share ahead of Jubilee celebrations this month.
From decorating the house to having fun with face paint, it's a great snapshot of what a party is like for children who may be too young to have properly experienced one before.
And the reason for this party theme? Busy Party is the 50th Busy... book (which makes our collection seem far too small!) Its shiny gold cover is guaranteed to attract the attention of the smallest of readers and the illustrations are sweet and full of colour.
