If My Dad Were the Tooth Fairy

Updated: Jun 1, 2021

A fun story that had us giggling throughout.

What child doesn't wish their parents had a job that was a bit more exciting? One little girl wonders if her dad might be happier as the tooth fairy. The blue spangled tights and wand would be a huge improvement, but where would he find all the money? And would she miss him at bedtime?

If My Dad Were the Tooth Fairy offers a hilarious look at the pros and cons of the most glittering job around. Dad flies around the house with the washing and chases the dog down to reclaim his wand, but also raids his daughter's piggy bank and comes in looking worse for wear at breakfast time. The illustrations really added to the humour, as well as offering a beautiful colour pallet of blues, purples and pinks.

Our favourite page was the last one though. Because if Dad is considering a new career, maybe Gran should too...

I was provided with an advanced copy for review via NetGalley.
